1. Why is device not switching on ?

A: It could happen due to one or more of following reasons.

    1. There is no SIM card in device

    2. Device is not charged

    3. You are not pressing the right button. SOS button is power on button.

    4. You are not pressing SOS button long enough. Long press the SOS button to switch on.


2. Family number buttons 1,2,3 are not able to make calls

A:  It could happen due to one or more of following reasons.

    1. Family numbers have not been set on tracking portal.

    2. You are not pressing family button long enough. Long press the button to make call.

    3. There is not enough balance on device SIM card to make an outgoing call.


3. SOS call is not made after pressing SOS button

A:  It could happen due to one or more of following reasons

    1. SOS numbers have not been set on tracking portal

    2. You are not pressing SOS button long enough. Long press the button to initiate SOS call.

    3. There is not enough balance on device SIM card to make an outgoing call.

    4. 10 sec have not passed after pressing SOS button. There is a wait time of 10 sec after placing the call to initiate SOS calling. 


4. I am calling the device SIM number but call is not going through.

A:  It could happen due to one or more of following reasons.

    1. Your number has not been set as SOS and Family number on tracking portal.

    2. Device is not on.

    3. There is problem with outgoing call facility on your phone.


5. Tracking portal is not loading on my browser

A:  It could happen due to one or more of following reasons.

    1. You are not accessing it from right place. Monito website > Tracking portal

    2. You are not yping the correct address in your web browser . track.themonito.com

    3. The firewall or your network security settings is not allowing the access to portal

    4. Caches are loading the former pages


6. I am not able to login to tracking portal

A:  It could happen due to one or more of following reasons.

    1. You are entering your login details incorrectly

    2. Your account or password details are incorrect.


7. I am not able to see current location or location update of device

A:  It could happen due to one or more of following reasons.

    1. Device is not connected to tracking portal

    2. GPS is not able to locate due to device being in area of poor connectivity

    3. There is not enough balance on SIM card of device


8. On making update to settings,I am getting error message that operation failed.

A:  It could happen due to one or more of following reasons.

    1. Device is offline. Not connected to tracking portal

    2. Server is down

    3. There is not enough balance on SIM card of device
